Due to the dangerous environment in which our products are used, each part and product is sold "as is" and with all faults. Hassy Chassis (seller) will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from the use or misuse of these products or parts. Auto racing is a dangerous sport where injury or death is a possible occurrence. The user shall determine the suitability and safety of the product or parts and assumes all responsibility and risk in connection there within.

Ordering Policies

Orders may be placed by phone, fax, or in person. All orders will be shipped as soon as possible. All or part of an order may be drop shipped. Hassy Chassis ships UPS daily. Next day air and second day services are available through UPS. Truck line freight is also available with a special handling and packaging fee of $100.00 plus freight and company charges. All truck freight charges must be paid in advance. No COD's on products or parts sent by truck freight. We do no guarantee delivery times. We recommend that you place your order with all information necessary to assure your receipt of the correct part. We will not be responsible for parts ordered incorrectly. If we ship the wrong parts to you in error, please let us know as soon as possible. All we request is that you ship us back the incorrect parts freight collect as soon as you can.

Terms

All sales are COD and will be paid for in full when products are picked up or shipped. Payment may be made in cash, certified check, money order or credit card. (Company or personal check must be approved in advance). We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover. We recommend keeping your credit card number on file so your product or parts order can be shipped as soon as it is received. We do not finance orders.

Deposits

A 30% deposit is required when placing a chassis order. Your order will be placed in production as soon as deposit is received. Deposit monies are refundable in merchandise only.

State Sales Tax (West Virginia)

Products or parts shipped out of state by common carrier are exempt from WV state sales tax. All in state shipments will be charged a state sales tax. Orders picked up at Hassy Chassis will be charged a state sales tax unless prior exemption forms are on file with us. The State of West Virginia only recognizes businesses that are in business for resale only for sales tax exemption. Having a state tax ID number doesn't mean you are exempt from state sales tax.

Chassis Repair

Chassis may be repaired or modified at our shop by appointment on a first come first serve basis. No frame repairs will be scheduled on Fridays. To avoid additional labor and time in repairing your chassis, please note the following.

1. Wash and clean chassis thoroughly.
2. Remove engine and suspension as needed.
3. Remove as much sheet metal as needed.

Return Policy

Parts may be returned up to 60 days from purchase date. A 10% restocking fee and all return freight costs will be charged. Note the three steps below when returning product or parts.

1. Return authorization is required in advance prior to shipment.
2. A copy of the invoice must accompany the parts being returned.
3. There will be no cash refund on returned products or parts. Only credit will be issued to be used on future orders.
